5. Your landlord and your money
July 9 @ 18:30 – 21:00
Virtual Event
This event is part of a ten-session training series designed to help social housing residents understand their rights, how to stand up for them, and get better treatment and services from landlords.
This session will explore where your social landlord’s income comes from and how they calculate value for money. We’ll look at how your rent and service charges are spent, and ask whether you’re getting good value in return. We’ll also discuss the types of financial information landlords share and the options available if you want to question or challenge how they’re spending your money.
The session will include a mix of presentations and group discussions. We may use breakout rooms, and we’ll let you know at the start if that’s the case. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to share your experiences, ask questions, and connect with others. Closed captions will be enabled.
Please note that to receive the link to join the session, as well as all relevant documents, you need to “Book a place” using the link below. Just adding it to your calendar is not enough.
