Online training session 7 – Options for resident control

This session explores different options for resident control, ownership and management of their homes and assets.
It covers:
- What the community is trying to acheive
- Building community support and membership
- Different routes to ownership and management
- Getting the right advice
It also looks at community owned housing associations in the UK and shares the journey of how one such organisation – Walterton & Elgin Community Homes – took control of its homes from the council 30 years ago and where they are now.
Session is open to all social housing residents.
