07. Handling your complaints
If you have a problem with your landlord, you have the right to make a complaint and expect it to be handled fairly, following clear procedures and within set timeframes. This includes:
- The expectations placed on landlords by the Regulator of Social Housing and the Housing Ombudsman
- How landlords must inform tenants about the complaints process
- What a proper complaints process should include
- What actions should follow once a complaint is received
