What’s changing in social housing – and what’s changed for you?

This webinar will explain the upcoming changes to social housing regulation, which will start to come into force from 1 October 2026. We’ll explain the new requirements for the information that landlords must provide to residents, the new expectations around the knowledge, skills and behaviours of housing staff, and the timetable for introducing these changes. We’ll also discuss what they could mean for you as a social housing resident. These changes are being introduced through updates to the Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard, including the new Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs), and the new Competence and Conduct Standard.

We’ll also use this session to hear directly from Four Million Homes residents.
