Training session 8 – Social housing regulatory requirements

This session outlines the key areas of the Regulatory Framework that Registered Providers need to ensure they are compliant with. It will include changes since the Social Housing (Regulation) Act becoming law and following the planned directions to the Regulator in the coming year.
It will cover:
- The role of the Regulator of Social Housing and the Housing Ombudsman Service
- The Regulatory Framework
- The standards that landlords need to comply with
- The Tenant Satisfaction Measures
Session is open to all social housing residents. Tea and cakes will be the provided and there’ll be lots of opportunity to network and share experiences.

Abraham has a significant experience in the housing field having worked as a Housing Director and Senior Manager in a number of housing organisations including, a large BME Housing Association, Local Authorities and ALMOs for over 20 years.
Helen is the Project Manager for the Four Million Homes programme.
