Proposed changes to social housing rents – rent convergence explained
August 18 @ 17:00 – 18:00
The government is currently consulting on a policy called ‘rent convergence’ — a plan to bring all social housing rents in line with a standard ‘formula rent’, aiming to create more consistency and increase investment into social housing.
However, many are concerned about what this could mean for affordability for tenants.
Four Million Homes is hosting an information session to explain:
- What the rent convergence policy is
- What changes are being proposed
- What it could mean for you as a tenant
- How to share your views in the official consultation
You can find out more and have your say in the consultation here. The deadline for responses is 27th August 11.45pm.
Please note that to receive the link to join the session, as well as all relevant documents, you need to “Book a place” using the link below. Just adding it to your calendar is not enough.
